    FatMat is awesome!

For only $90, you can get 100^2 feet of Dynamat Xtreme equivalent sound dampening!! They are having a sale. It cost me $100 when I ordered last month. I applied it to my car just the other night. I covered the entire rear of the car in it (under the body panels of course). It's super malleable and really sticky! There's very little after-smell too. This pic only shows the one side of the car near completion...

They also include a cutting tool, surface cleaner, and roller (although the roller is weak). It comes in two 50^2 foot rolls.

    this stuff is honestly...
sticky and hard to use if you have never done it...
    but compared to dyanmat...
    there is no comparison...
there is a MAJOR after smell petroleum product smell after...
it took 2 weeks of having the windows and trunk open...
can't wait to see if it has completely gone away after being at the body shop for 2 1/2 weeks...
the roller sucks - go buy one at Home Depot...
make sure you cover up the splits that occur as you see in the picture on the right wheel well...
    nice job nick_danger!

    Sincerely,
LMAO, hard to use? If you can successfully use tape, you can apply this stuff. :D As for the smell, other than the one day after I installed the stuff, the smell is gone... Don't worry, I made sure there was no bare metal! Well, except for around some of the cables I didn't want to move... I still have to do the tailgate and the doors. If I have a lot left over and get really brave, I'll consider doing the ceiling and floor... Of course, the quieter I make this thing, the louder my exhaust will have to be for me to hear it!

Is 80 bucks a good deal for the Dynamat trunk kit? A local store said they'd sell it to me for that price.

After using FatMat, I think $80 for that would be a complete ripoff... but that's just my opinion.
