    DTC's with 6disc radio

I recently bought the 6 disc radio, from a forum member. I was wondering if I will get any DTC codes, from taking out my single disc radio, and plugging in the new unit. I've read that when doing sirus installs the fcm has to be programed. Has anyone else done the swap? Any issues?

I recently replaced my 1 disc with a 6 disc that I purchased from a forum member.

Here is the deal. Open your ashtray and pull the trim off around the radio by putting your fingers up inside the ashtray. Disconnect the wiring for the electrical in the trim. 4 screws need to be removed to get the radio out. Disconnect the wiring for the radio and disconnect the antenna cable ( this is a bit fiddily ).

    Reconnect the new unit.

The whole thing took me 10 mins including getting and drinking a beer.

THere is an article in the knowledge base here How to remove the radio *

No problems and no setup required
