    CD HOLE COVER?

I wanted to try out my CD player last night but there's some kind of door or cover over the hole for the CD. Am I or was Dodge dealership supposed to remove it before it left the lot? I seem to remember someone bring this up before but I haven't been able to find that post. If I'm right and this has been discussed before, can someone point me to that post or tell me how to remove the door/cover? thanks, LM

if you have the multi cd unit you have to press the load/eject button first then the screen will tell you to LOAD the disc, do this for discs 1 thru 6.
    Thanks for the Avatar, Hazman

Not sure what CD system you have, but its possible they didn't take out the bracket that prevents stuff FROM going INTO the CD player as it ships. When they installed my NAV, they didn't take it out and I couldn't INSERT any CD's. It was a simple 10 minute fix.

I thought I remembered some kind of note regarding a cover. As it turns out LX Enthusiast was right. Once I pressed the LOAD button and waited for it to ask for the CD it loaded right in.

Please excuse the ignorance. This is only my second car with a CD and my first one with a multi CD tray.

    thanks again!!!

This business of loading CDs INTO this changer is less than intuitive. Every CD player I've ever had, you just stuck the CD INTO the slot, or you loaded a magazine. I thought when I first opened this thread you were maybe trying to LOAD a CD INTO the NAV system DVD tray! :D Odd little cover over that spot...
