I'm looking for a 12V bluetooth to RCA adapter. I want to stream from my Playbook to my PAC adapter, with RCA inputs. which is connected to my REC. Has anyone done this, what did you use and are you happy with the sound repro.

you could run this into the RCA inputs with the 3.5mm jack out of the bluetooth rec. I guess my question is how much difference is this compared to simply running the wires the old fashion way? are you keeping the the playbook hidden away?

Of course you will also need to use a 12 volt usb power supply to run the bluetooth rec.....

Thank you Mr. I. You pointed me in the right direction and it was exactly what I asked for. However, something else caught my eye on the page. I ended up buying a Belkin Aircast on eBay instead. Bluetooth audio, USB port, 12V powered and handsfree all in one with great reviews. Perfect for my needs!!
Thanks for the feedback. Basically what I was looking for was the ability to just get in the car and have it connect with out cables. The ability to just hand the Playbook to back seat passengers without having to be careful of wires is kind of nice to. As you can see above, I ended up with a hands free application for my BB phone and iTouch as well.
Running an aftermarket deck so not really related but yeah the bluetooth connectivity on OS2 for the Playbook is great .. sit behind the car at a show with the gate open and crank the tunes/video..

Finally had the time to install everything.

Belkin Bluetooth (CarAudio Connect AUX)
Everything works as advertised, sounds great and it took less than 45 minutes to install. A lot less time than I thought and all wires are hidden.
So now I have a VES channel that runs bluetooth for my phone/audio and a second channel that is hard wired for any other non bluetooth device. A USB power source is in there as well if needed.

I bought mine on eBay. I spent a day reading reviews of this, ones that were cheaper and settled on this one.
