    Best 3.5" to get?

Hey guys. My system sounds awesome but is really lacking sum treble(especially when I turn the subs up all the way) . I am going to add speakers to the front. What pair do you think would be the most bang for the buck. Just need a boost on the highs. Thanks!

I use Alpine SPS-080A. They are discontinued for 2005. Great close out deals. http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?...FRFOSAodcxl7sg

I have the HU Xoverd at 220hz and then 300hz Bassblockers for extra filtering. I have Alpine MRF-M345 75watts to them. I love them. Been running them for about a year, 3 sound comps and no probs.

I put the same ones in last month and have been real happy with the sound. They are a tight squeeze against the dash/grille when installed, so I may be going back in to see if there's a way to drop them about 1/4".

My best advice rrdrummer is to not let the audio shop talk you into 4" speakers. I let my shop talk me into 4" Memphis speakers which would have been awesome if they would have fit. So I got the only 3.5" they had in stock and that was the fosgates, I don't know the P/N but they were only like $69. From what I understand most people are going with infinity because they are 2ohm which matches the system. So, I guess it depends on what you are doing with the system, are you amping it up at the same time, or just looking to add the highs from up there. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised with any speaker you put up there. Having come from the 4 speaker system myself I was simply amazed at how much better it sounds with the dash speakers. Looking back now I can't even imagine not having them.

The easiest way to do that is see if you can mount them from the bottom. Probably require some dash dissassembly. You can also add washers to add more to the thickness of the dash mounting plastic.
