    Angry Aux jack/bluetooth

I need some help I have a U-Connect in my car and a PCC-6800 Mogul Phone. Here is the problem, when the phone is plugged into the Aux Jack of the radio for the use of the MP3 on the phone. The U-connect will make the call and hang up with-in seconds. So from what I can tell, when the phone is plugged into the radio its seeing itself plugged into a headphone mic jack and will not let the Bluetooth work correctly. (I have the same problem if I am in the car using a Bluetooth headset for phone calls and the phone plugged into the Jack for MP3. In another car.) So my question is this does anyone have a reg hack to fix this problem. And or does anyone know how to or which pin I can removed in the jack if that’s possible? Thanks!!!

Christ man, one forum would have been enough to post this in! The problem is in the phone, not the car... if you plug a regular pair of headphones into the phone and play a song and then get a call while a bluetooth headset is paired w/ the phone, what happens? Same thing?

I deleted all your other threads, please do not make multiple threads regarding one topic. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. First yes I placed the question in several locations. The reason is because I quess unlike you I go directy to a thread and not all of them. Anyway I do know the problem is in the phone. I guess I figured that with all the mods people have done to there cars that someone might have come up with a way to do both. And yes the same problem would happen if I had head phones on and tried to use a bluetooth. Anyway any help would be greatful.

Since the problem is in the phone you need to find a forum for the phone or phone company or cell phones in general and ask. If it's popular enought someone has probably figured it out or hacked it. It's much more likely someone there has had the same issue than someone here.

Not saying no one can/will help but this just isn't the best location to ask for help with a phone problem.

    Fix

If anyone whats to know the fix. Its that when you first get into the care you have to activate the u-connect (hit the button) so that Uconnect connects to the car. Then plug in the cable to your phone. This makes the MS moblie software see uconnect as the hands free device its connect to. Then any other hands free device (ex. the cable). It sees but not as the hands free therefore you can use the MP3 or what ever you want.
