aux input connector size help

I just installed an 06 radio w/aux input in my 05 magnum and my 1/8 plug (I think it's 1/8...it fits all my other mp3 stuff) fits in kind of loose. I have to hod it just right to get it to play.

Am I using the wrong connector or is there something wrong with the input jack?

1/8" Plug should work fine. Your plug may be developing a short or something.. I'd pick up another wire at RatShack and give that a try..

Thanks, it was the cable. All is well and I'm glad to get away from the fm transmitter. No more bleed over in traffic!
