While I have taken one of my old systems apart many times, cut some wood before and did a little upholstery this is my first complete solo audio install ever. The car came with the factory sub but the plastic box it was in rattled badly at low volume. I previously had this equipment in my std cab Silverado for about a year.
First I made a new floor with some standard black automotive carpeting using the old floor as a template and raised it up a few inches. Then I added a plexiglass window and an MTX Req5 (to keep the factory head unit), Rockford Fused Fosgate AGU Distribution Block 2 Bridged Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-2 amps each with its own 1 Farad Capacitor, and 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch P3S-1X10 shallow mount sub boxes. Last added a little blue accent LED lighting.
While it doesn't make the hair stand up off your head it sounds great and hits hard. The shallow mount subs leave a really small footprint back there which is great since I need the cargo area to be functional.

Great job! Very clean!
Very clean, very slick! I like the idea of a cover for the amps.

The amps and things are set on a slanted platform that looks like a guitar pedal board ( kinda like this ) I didn't want to screw through the floor, so ironically it is held in place by velcro that came with my guitar pedal board. I figured I would give it a shot and and it does not budge an inch. For he plexiglass I just used some liquid adhesive all around the edges. The plexiglass piece is bigger than the hole so you can't see any of the adhesive.
I really like your clean install. It looks simple but I know you put a lot of time and effort into it. Nice job!!
