Anyone use factory sirius antenna with aftermarket unit?

About to install my z2 with sirius but didnt know if anyone knew where the factory sirius antenna lead was, and if it would work with an aftermarket unit?

i know there are adapters to use aftermarket antennas with the factory receiver box....not sure if they have adapters for factory antenna to aftermarket receiver. Depends on the year of your car as well, the 2005 factory antenna has a 2 cable connection, im sure it can be done...even with some at home splicing and ingenuity, but definitely not a direct connection. Some of the newer models had a more common antenna plug but you would have to inspect it to find out.
