Anyone tried these Audiovox custom headrests?

Has anyone tried these out yet. If so, what do you think? How's the color match?

yes.................I have 2 in my wife's Commander Limited

When we bought the car we wanted the TV option............the dealership gave us 2 options and both cost the same.....

#1. The Mopar fold down w/ 1 screen
#2. Twin Audiovox screens in head rests

To us it was a no-brainer...............

The system came with 2 IR / wireless headrests and a game controller that had some basic games INSIDE the controller.

We bought an extra headset for our 3rd kid..........

We've been very very pleased with it.............it does 2 channels which allows 1 kid to watch a movie and 1 kid to play a game and the 3rd kid can swtich their headset to either channel.

We plan on buying a 3rd fold down (also AudioVox) for the 3rd row seating and 2 more headsets..............

The color match to the "saddle leather" was 100%

When I mention this, the Sale Manager mentioned it was because AudioVox makes the Mopar stuff and keeps it in stock.

Thanks, that's just the type of feedback I was hoping for. In addition, how long have you had them installed? It sounds like the dealer installed them for you, right?

I guess about 6 months..............and yes, dealer installed

If you have kids, the trick is to get one of those tupperware tubs (small size) and put it in the back seat. Make a house rule that the kids HAVE TO put their controller and head sets into the tub when they are done.........

If they do not follow the rules, they can loose their headsets and thus loose the right to use the TV's.

    They learn quickly...........

I checked with a local store that siad it would be about $1500 including installation. In the past the VES from the factory was an $1150 option but for 2008 it's now a $1595 option that includes Sirius TV.

yeah.............it was offered to me as an "either - or" kind of deal..........I figured 2 screens for 3 girls was better than 1 screen with 3 girls.
