Anyone have serious experience w/ custom audio installs?

I'm talking big boy fabrication-heavy installs. I have a couple questions regarding general methods for certain looks. If you wouldn't mind shooting the breeze for a while and sharing some know-how, let me know!!!

Rebuild and/or replace the rear trim panels in my Magnum to house an amp on each side and look 100% finished when they're done. Couple difficulties w/ this - the seatbelt/grille cap on top, for example.

100% finished is one thing...but it almost sounds like you want it to look like it's always been there and not stick out in a custom sort-of way.

i'll take a look at my magnum and see what i would do. I did a very similar thing with a jeep laredo.

and i wouldn't replace the trip panels, I would keep as much there as possible and glass the rest to match.

Definitely don't want it to look factory, but want it to look finished. No exposed fasteners, no ugly seams just to make it easier to build, Tight fight against other panels, etc.

That first part is why I'm leaning toward just letting the shop do it. I'm getting enough of a deal that it's not too terrible.

Have you a certain shop in mind, or are you doing on your own?

Sound Decision is hooking me up. It's not as nuts as I'd like in a perfect world, but the price is way right to just have them do it all. As much as I normally insist on doing everything myself, this time that doesn't make sense. Targeting my b-day 9/20 to have the car finished and back to me. They're the same guys that did this one:
