Another Car audio manufactor goes away

Eclipse is get one of aftermarket car audio. The are going to focus one the oem side of there business. It is sad to see any brand going away, but it is the way things are now. You never want to see a brand like Elcpise goes. It just limited the choses in the world.

I was at CES today... North Hall...

It is BAD!!!!!!!
A lot of companies are down sizing and missing from this event..

I heard from alot of manufactors that they would not be on the floor. The are doing there display at hotels. They are tring to cut cost. Some are not going at all(ie JLaudio).

Hmm this is actually relatively interesting since eclpise is not involved in OEM (other than their own products). A good amount of their subwoofers were produced by a company that was based out of San Diego (which is no longer in business).

Hate to see any business go but i just didnt care much for Eclipse....

Well eclipse parent company fujitsu ten is involved in oem. But anyway i too was at CES and of all my years going this show was really sad, demo cars were weak alot of vendors just seemed like they put no effort in preparing for the show. I think next time you'll either see more going to SEMA or doing smaller displays at hotels as some did this year. I think like anything in the economy it will turn around but unsure when.
