    Amp Ground Question

Ok I have not installed an amp in a few years(12+) and I am getting ready to install my latest Ebay buy. So my question is can I just ground my amp to the ground stud right in front of the battery (toward the front of the car)? Or do you think I will have problems grounding there? I dont really want to drill holes in my car sheet metal.

K thats where I am going. I was given a pyramid 10 and an sony amp but the guy did not know if the amp worked so we hooked it up in his truck no go on the amp. Then i was looking on ebay and found an alpine 300w amp for $30 and bought it. So now i am waiting to get my amp. Should be here today. I am getting all the wires in so when it shows up i can just hook it up. Cant wait to find a deal like that on a decent sub.

High to low convter from both back speakers and then RCA's in to the amp. I also have the amp out of sync. could that be a problem.

it should adjust the bass with the volume on the deck unless you have the gain cranked up from the start. then it won't get any louder it will just clip

Here's a picture of how mine is...it's not a good picture and i've cleaned up some of the other wires since...

the ground is up in the top by the valves, bolted to the floor of the trunk. i scraped all of the junk and paint off to get to bare metal.
