When bridging a 4 channel amp, does this mean you'll only be able to run it in mono, or can you still run it in stereo hi/pass? i.e. components...
How are you bridging it? Are you bridging front 2 channels for 1 output and rear for 1 output? If so you can still use it as a stereo amp and the hi/pass should all work just the same. Somewhat depends on the amp as for combination

You can bridge channels 1 & 2 for the right front speaker and then channels 3 & 4 for the left front speaker.

what brand amp?? remember not every amp is the same if you hook it up wrong you can blow out the amps output circuit
