Amp bridging?????

When bridging a 4 channel amp, does this mean you'll only be able to run it in mono, or can you still run it in stereo hi/pass? i.e. components...

How are you bridging it? Are you bridging front 2 channels for 1 output and rear for 1 output? If so you can still use it as a stereo amp and the hi/pass should all work just the same. Somewhat depends on the amp as for combination

You can bridge channels 1 & 2 for the right front speaker and then channels 3 & 4 for the left front speaker.

what brand amp?? remember not every amp is the same if you hook it up wrong you can blow out the amps output circuit

Yes it will be... you would feed the left signal to channels 1 & 2... then you send the right signal to channels 3 & 4... you will have to use "Y" cables but this will still give you stereo image.
