Well my G/F (SILVASTAR) and I have been shopping around from shop to shop getting pricing to fabricate a 10.2" monitor in the dash of her Magnum and relocate the AC controls to the center console. Some of the prices we got we down right crazy, keep in mind we already had the DVD player, monitor, and paint. We were looking for someone to just to do the fabricating. One shop in LA said $1800, another said $500. The cheapest we found was $350, but that guy went M.I.A. So for the past couple of weeks that we were looking for pricing, I was also researching on how to do it myself. I finally decided to do it myself with what little knowledge I gained from other audio forums. I started last last Tuesday and finished it Friday night right before Cruisin for a Cure. Let me know what you think, "KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MY FIRST TIME FABRICATING, SO GO EASY....LOL"
I started with a simple nav bezel:
This is the design we came up with:
And I took the plunge.....cut the precious bezel....no turning back now!!
I wanted to avoid fiberglassing, So I tried this other method mentioned on the Audio Forums using epoxy and ABS Plastic.

Final product:
THE TOTAL COST INCLUDING PAINT WAS AROUND $260 - $280
