Dont feel like touching every wire with a test light, then turning car off and repeating. So does anyone know of any ignition switched 12V wires both under the hood and in the trunk? Thanks in advance!

you can use the fuse for the cigarette lighter in the trunk, not sure which is switched under the hood

The instructions call for "IGNITION SWITCHED 12 VOLTS". The one in the trunk is for a bottle warmer. I'm assuming that would be KOEO so it can warm in the staging lanes. What fuse is the cig lighter in the trunk?

Send a PM to Raymond (PLCMAN). He has designed a very robust 12 Switched Power Supply for the LX platform.
Check it here: 12 Volt Switched Power

Looks cool and he does good work, but that's a little intense for what I need. That is along the lines of what's going in my race car as I am wiring that from scratch. I don't need that many outputs on my Charger. I have no big stereo or lights. Just a small nitrous system.

The cigarette lighter in the dash is switched 12 power, controlled by the key.
Here's a writeup on how to tap into that.
In the trunk, the fuse is number 18, and you can tap off of that for switched 12v (low current (see the fuse rating for max current on this circuit)).
In the picture below, fuse 18 can be either in line with the rest of the fuses (constant 12V), or offset for switched 12v.
Hope this helps,
Bob

just want to ask again.
where can i get a wire under the hood which is controlled by the ignition.
If the ignition is on the wire should be powered.
if the ignition is off the wire should have no power.
is there any cable like this?
thanks
