When a Mod Closes a thread

I wonder if they could just close it and not add their editorial or soap box ? I don't usually disagree with why they close a thread it is just that it seems like they rub it in that they are closing it. Thanks

Mods usually state a reason why they are closing a thread. It would be much worse if they closed it without a reason.

I understand your point Anthony. I feel like they can certainly do that and not add the barbs that sometimes go along with it.
