Login in ?

This may seem like a lame question, since I've only
been logging in for about 4 months. :oops:

But where's the correct place to login.

I have been loosing my, [ views since last post ]
When I try to open, it comes up empty.

Disclaimer: I've swung a hammer most of my life and not very computer savvy.

PS : Is this the right place to ask Questions.

You can login anywhere there's a logni box, they all send the info to the same place.

If you are HAVING problems with retaining posts, I can almost gurantee if you clear your cookies then re-login it should be fine.

Sorry, I know this isn't a computer class, but the only cookies I know about I have a tall glass of milk with.
I did a scan for virusses and issolated some potential unwanted files. That just seemed to slow down computer.

What's your browser??

Cookies are files containing information about visitors to a web site (e.g. user name and preferences). This information is provided by the user during the first visit to a web server (when you log in for the first time). The server records this information in a text file and stores this file on the visitor's hard drive. This is where it would be sweet to have a pull down box with choices for seeing posts for last 6 hours, 1 day, two days, 1 week.... Maybe an auto refresh choice box for every 5 minutes or not to auto UPDATE which is what we have now.

It took me a while to figure this out too. The trick is a very small image in GIF format. This easier if you have Photoshop, more difficult if you don't.
If you don't have Photoshop, post the photo you want here and I'll resize it for you.

Yup, if you link to an offiste file, it can be any size you want...the forum software automatically resizes it for you.

Does the forum make you login everytime? If so, your computer is not accepting cookies FROM us. That would be a security setting in your browser software.

It's possible that wither your browser's security settings are set to "High", or you have some spyware removal software that is prihibiting new cookies.

Do you have a problem on any other web forums or anything else you need to login to?

The last time I did login, I checked the remember me box.
Now when I get to the site, I'm already logged in.
It doesn't let me logout now.

No problem! If it is loggin you in automtically, you are getting our cookies. Odd that it isn't giving you new posts though.
