    volume three tease

man, I don't havta post a video for this one. I'll just tell ya, I got Guitar Hero 2 for Christmas and my mother in law was over today so I grabbed the camera and put the quitar in her hands. It was already funny. She's like 77 or somthin. Anyway, I put it on War pigs by Black Sabbath and had a hard time not shaking the camera cuz I was laughin so hard. She cussed the game then we switched to a little Motley Crue. She caught a groove in Shout at the Devil as I rolled, knowing I was gonna put some of this in V3 as bonus footage and at one point started doing the head bang thang. Priceless.
So picture it your heads now...Granny playin quitar to Sabbath all like "this just aint workin right! then rockin out to the Crue with a smile that reeked of wrong doing.

    yes, it's that funny.

    that is all.

    dude, you gotta know her.
the local cops called last week for me to come pick her up as they had tried to pull her over several times and then when they finally did, it was in the middle of a very busy street. I aint talkin smack about the mother of my wife. I am her biggest fan cuz she's my biggest fan. I'm just sayin theres lotsa grey hair and lotsa wtf look on her face.
cracks me righ the heck up

I was hoping to have it done by new years but I'd be rushing it to make that deadline and there is just no reason to do that.
I figure one month from now.
It's gonna be about an hour long and will feature Modification Face Off '06 in Sacramento, Meister and a group of us outrunning a CHP helicopter, rent-a-car drag racing at Sacramento Raceway (not sponsored by Enterprise... they didn't dig the video at all), Mopar Mania at John Hennessey's track in Texas, a close up of the Rt 66Fest in Springfield, IL, a heart-warming piece on a car club that puts on a car show for a fallen brother each year, and the now famous 144mph pullover. It'll also sport some bonus footage like "meet my Neighbor, Bob", "ridin' with Mark" and of course, the soon to be famous "Granny busts some Sabbath".
I really excited about this one. It even has a blues montage of some behind the scenes stuff from the road.
Amazing how much I have travelled creating this show.

I spoke with SPEED just before the holidaze. The bad news is they still have not watched the second pilot I sent in (a shortened version of Volume Two). The good news is, they still haven't watched it. No news is not good news ni this case and hearing that they still have it on a shelf means it hasn't been rejected. The fact that they wanted to see a second pilot from the same concept is exeptional. Just doesn't happen often. Most of the time when a network passes on a concept, thats it for that concept with that network. They liked volume one enough to be open to volume two and thats huge. Volume two being so much better than volume one, I have very high hopes for a positive response very soon.
2007 will bring great peaks in the land of peaks and vallies.

Just got Vol 2 and watched it tonight. It is great. If you have not seen this it is well worth the $20. If you like the stuff on Speed (car shows, burn outs-cars not hippies, racing) and good old LX goofballs doing good and crazy stuff this is the video for you.

    Here is a link: http://moddinart.com/Vol2.html

From the material list presented here just sign me up for a copy of Vol 3 right now. I'll even pre-pay if that helps out with the production numbers.
Matter of fact I never got Vol 1- there must be a package deal for 1&3. Hook us up brother!

Thanks Grinner for a fantastic video- great work.

I hope to start podcasting these segments soon. A dolla a download type of thang. Not sure how well it would work with some videos being 15 minutes and others being 2. While it's all balance out in the end, it may tick some off to pay a buck and only get 2 minutes of content. We'll see.

Once v3 is released, you bet I'll offer a package deal for the whole set. I don't anticipate making a volume 4 at this time. I havn't ruled it out but it's an expensive project and it may be impossible to continue next year. While I have sold a couple thousand dollars worth of DVDs, I could not begin to put a number on what I have spent. Well into 5 figures thats for sure.
things have a way of working themselves out. Such will be the case with this. I'm not giving up on selling it as a series, I just don't see what I could show em with a volume 4 that I isn't in the first 3 volumes.
