    Cool Burnout/Doughnut/Drift Vids

I left work early on Wednesday to beat the Thanksgiving traffic, slapped on my stock wheels and tires for the winter, and realized that the Continentals were down to their wear bars. Time for new tires, which can mean only one thing... time to make a video!

    Here's my Magnum: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4345539179387550067&q=%22rock+out+productions%22&hl=en

    Here's my buddy's '92 Vette:

    Enjoy!

Cool, but I'm not a fan of power braking, kinda cheating IMHO.
I bet the people that own that parking lot were pelased.

Gotta love the sound of GM small-block...but the RT sounded pretty nice too..

Hmm, I have a small pile of tires/wheels in the garage with a pair of conti's at the wearbars...hmmmm....

I was only power braking on the burnouts, not on the drifts. Didn't know there was such a thing as "cheating" on a burnout! If that's how you feel about power braking, I'm sure you'd hate the concept of FWD cars sliding around with plastic tray lids under their rear tires so that they can emulate us RWD'ers. Looks pretty ridiculous IMHO.

Hahaha!!! Traysliding RULES!!!! I have to admit, I went out with my '93 Cutlass Supreme SL and a buddy in his '95 (which I bought after I sold my '93, long story) with a couple of cafeteria trays into a Caterpillar parking lot and went nuts after it rained. It's a good time... nothing like whipping a Brody in a FWD car though. Too bad those ruin wheel bearings...

anyway, 99.9% of cars are incapable of doing a burnout without braketorquing to start. You'd need something insane like 800hp to get the magnum to light 'em up with no brakes. Braketorquing IS burning out as far as I'm concerned. I've never seen a true drag car without linelock installed.
Great video, btw!!! I have one like that of my old RT, but I can't post it because of the location.
