I was lookin at the back of a Van Morrison cd when I did this one
I saw that sketch and this sort of popped into my head:
Grinners on the road,
Grinners on the road,
He wants his house and home
He wants his house and home
Through this world he roams
Hired gun out on loan
Grinners on the road
He's lonely on the road
His heart is far away
Wants to watch his children play
Give him a 'plane so he can fly
Cause its to damn slow to ride
He's lonely on the road
Grinner's a good man
Grinner's a good man
You see he understands
that as he crosses land
its his home at travels end
with childrens joy for him.
Grinner's a good man
Yeah..
Grinners on the road,
Grinners on the road,
He wants his house and his home
He wants his house and his home
Through this world he roams
Hired gun out on loan
Grinners on the road
He wants his house and home
He wants his house and home
He wants his house and home
He wants his house and home

Still meaning to eventually finish reading that damned series. Between Stephen King and Robert Jordan, my reading is booked (bad pun) for many many months to come.Originally Posted by kudasai

Good Luck on the Robert Jordan - he's going to die before he ever finishes the Wheel of Time. You do know he's writing a "prequel" trilogy before he finishes the original series, right?Originally Posted by DMAG
It's damn irritating.
Try George R.R. Martin. He's less magic, more medieval in his Song of Fire and Ice series. Book 4 of 7 will be out this year.
"Walkin' the thin white line on this smiling road. 40 days, I've been all alone. Draggin' my heart all across this world. I got 100 miles to go before I get back to see my girl. Aint got nothing, I got nothing to lose. I keep walking away these blues. The cup is broken, but it's half full. I got 100 miles to go before I get back to see my girl."

Good ole Robert Jordan. I stopped after Book 8 and took a break to wait for him to release a few more before I read anymore in the WOT series. Everytime he ended up releasing a new book, I go and re-read all the books prior to "refresh". It's getting to be waaaay to many books to re-read time and again!Originally Posted by 67alecto
I do have a signed copy of "Winter's Heart" (book nine).

Beautiful work grinner. Love the sketches of your daughter(s)? Forgive me, don't know if they're both of Tera or not.
I couldn't draw to save my life, although I wish I could. I have to go the easy route and take pictures of my daughter.
Again, beautiful work.
