I'll bet those little guys could be a real ball to drive though, if configured right. Little go-karts. Wonder if Hotchkiss makes sway bars for 'em?
I had a 59 VW dune buggy that was 13" shorter and had a mighty '61 40hp motor in it. Wasn't fast, but you wouldn't catch me in a parking lot, AND you could play in the sand too.

damn, thats funny. i just saw my first smart car in person the other day. it was driving behind me. i tried pulling over to get a pic, but the guy turned off. damn!!! it was a pretty cool lookn lil car.
