SC tuner acting weird

I just sold my SC tuner. The new owner has some problems with it - the display is all scrambled and you can't see what you're doing basically. I know the unit has done this before when it's been really cold outside or in the garage and I'm thinking condensation is the culprit. In room temps, I've never seen an issue. I will take it back if the guy doesn't want it but I know it works - I've used it from the day I bought it until this past weekend.

Has anybody else experienced this in colder temps/winter time?
