    Question

I have only seen the spyshots of the Power Wagon. How does it differ from the Raptor?
Is the Raptor more of a desert racer/pre-runner style versus the Power Wagon's large, lumbering, stump pulling style?

Yeah that's a pretty good summary GM. Another pretty clear difference is in the cabin size; the Ram is a standard cab where the Raptor is an extended (four door).

The approach and depart angles on that Ram are impressive. But that back leaves something to be desired. The Raptor has a short 5.5ft bed, but its full width. The Ram looks crazy small comparatively.

Oh and maybe the biggest difference... the Raptor was designed, from day one to be a daily driver and weekend toy; a primary design goal was to be as capable on road as off. It took Ford 2 years to get it right. This Ram PW was conceived of and built as a concept in a matter of weeks (to my knowledge). I think that difference would only be borne out on the production line and in the showrooms... somewhere I doubt the Ram will ever see.

Now THIS is a Raptor fighting contender...

Time will tell how user friendly (aka daily driver friendly) it really is, and time will tell if they actually build it. I hope so, either way. Competition is a great thing.

Here in Ohio, the off-roading is better suited for Power Wagon use
