    Unhappy R.I.P. LilHemi :( Car only not driver!!

    It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart I must say goodbye to my Charger, my toy, my baby.
    While traveling southbound on the Fl. turnpike yesterday afternoon, returning from a recent trip to visit my family in No. Alabama, at mm133 I encountered a several cars that had slowed to view an accident that had happened eariler with several rescue vehicles already on the scene. I slowed to pace the traffic in front of me about 3 mph. when I looked into my rear view mirror and realized the SUV approaching did not even realize we were stopped. I am not sure how fast the other driver was going when they hit me or much of what happened after that.
    I am home now and I will let the pics tell the rest..

    Holy Crap! I keep believe that happened. I'm glad you're okay. I just talked to a friend of mine at a shop and he asked me if I know anybody in a "black" charger with a shaker hood. I thought of you right away because you're the only person I know with a shaker hood. I thought there was no way it was you because your car is blue. He saw your car on the Turnpike.

    Again, I'm very sorry for what happened. If there is anything your S Florida brethren can do let us know.

    omg rick!!! i can't believe what i am seeing!!! the wild thing is that i was traveling south bound on the turnpike yesterday and right before ft. pierce saw the message board reporting all lanes blocked!! i bailed at ft pierce and took 95 the rest of the way. i am sure it was you. buddy, i am crushed to see your ride like that. most important is that you are ok. cars can be rebuilt, bodies a little harder.... let me know if there is anything i can do!!

    Hope you're ok. Mine wasn't that bad back in May, same circumstances though... maybe Maggies have tougher rears.

    I had some rug rash on my forehead from my head snapping back and rubbing the headliner, no other injuries, but I have to think seeing them coming might make things worse... How are you feeling? Anyone else in the car? Everyone get checked out?

    Hey Don,
    Just spoke to Rick.He was the only one in the car.He is very very sore.But after a night in the hospital he is fine.Very sad about his car thought :(
