A few weeks ago I bought a Bradley electric smoker. I tried some country style spareribs and a tri-tip when I first got it but today I did my first babybacks. All I have to say is I'll never put ribs on the grill ever again. It takes alot longer in the smoker but it's 100% better. I'm still playing with temps and times but it came out great.
I smoked them for almost 3 hours, then seal wrapped each rack with foil and added a little apple cider and put back into the smoker for 2 1/2 hours. Just heat, no smoke. Then I took them out of the foil and put them on the grill. Mop on the sauce in layers.
Dry rub added the night before
Noon today
Adding sauce on the grill
Ready to cut. See how the meat is pulling away from the bone? Perfectly done.
Mmmmmm......
