This is my 2nd time on this:http://xt-9.com/
and this: http://www.freedom-innovations.com/slalom/index.html
and these I have used for a long time: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_MmOfZXEu2m...+outrigger.jpg
Ok for the prize, which leg is the XT9?I need to get to a Ski Area with longer runs, and get over the fear factor. Then get rid of those outrigger ski poles. It has been 30 years since I was in 2 skis, however been doing the 3 track ski since then, so my issue is in my head, I keep using my good leg for both turns, my mind needs to learn that it is OK to transfer the weight to the other ski, I know sounds weird. Basically the only thing holding me back now is me.

As a paraplegic that used to ski using a mono-ski, I salute you. Too often people feel sorry for me. I say `Life goes on``. I`m just a guy doing what I like to do. Don`t be amazed that I want to live not just exist. All the best my friend.

That's great!. I knew about your leg, but what kinda of brace is on your left arm?.
Edit, never mind I figured it out, duh. I've skied and snow boarded, but I'm not into it at all.

I was stunned when I saw it on the cover of Challenge magazine.
That's fun watching those folks go down the slopes in those mono ski's, the blind skiers just blow me away, how do they do it?
That's OK Cam, it was more fun as a teenager looking at/for the snobunnies.
Thanks I was hoping I would not embarass myself to bad, was pretty impressed myself.
Thanks hun, I need more practice
Like Whelin said, you only get one ride here so make the most of it. That complete unit, the knee, the foot weighs less then the ski boot on the other foot, that light weight use of high strength materials is big piece of the technology too.
^^
Dan if you want to go sking sometime, hit me up.
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!
Chuck is the phone number the same as I have? .. I also posted in the thread you started here:So! any skiers or snowboarders other then me?

That's awesome my friend, I salute you! I am fortunate enough to have the use of both my legs, and I'm too chicken-**** to go out there and do that (plus, I'd be less graceful as well)...
Man, that looks like some seriously expensive hardware. That knee looks like something from NASA.
Dan, you look like a natural out there man, huge congrats. Must feel great.
