One legged man on 2 skis

This is my 2nd time on this:http://xt-9.com/

    and this: http://www.freedom-innovations.com/slalom/index.html

and these I have used for a long time: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_MmOfZXEu2m...+outrigger.jpg

Ok for the prize, which leg is the XT9? I need to get to a Ski Area with longer runs, and get over the fear factor. Then get rid of those outrigger ski poles. It has been 30 years since I was in 2 skis, however been doing the 3 track ski since then, so my issue is in my head, I keep using my good leg for both turns, my mind needs to learn that it is OK to transfer the weight to the other ski, I know sounds weird. Basically the only thing holding me back now is me.

That's great!. I knew about your leg, but what kinda of brace is on your left arm?.

Edit, never mind I figured it out, duh. I've skied and snow boarded, but I'm not into it at all.

you looked great out there man. You paralleled better than most on that short run. Awesome to see you takin charge and hitting the slopes standing again; technology has truly made a difference there.

That's fun watching those folks go down the slopes in those mono ski's, the blind skiers just blow me away, how do they do it?

That's OK Cam, it was more fun as a teenager looking at/for the snobunnies.

Like Whelin said, you only get one ride here so make the most of it. That complete unit, the knee, the foot weighs less then the ski boot on the other foot, that light weight use of high strength materials is big piece of the technology too.

That's awesome my friend, I salute you! I am fortunate enough to have the use of both my legs, and I'm too chicken-**** to go out there and do that (plus, I'd be less graceful as well)...

Man, that looks like some seriously expensive hardware. That knee looks like something from NASA.
