I've still got plans to drop a GN motor & trans into a Miata body to see what damage can be done

Well my only muscle car before the Magnum was a 1987 Buick GN. I bought in 1992 when I was 19. I kept it for 15 years before selling it. My dad and I put a lot of work into it. It was an emotional day when it left the driveway.

My buddy Tim did a twin turbo 4.3 chevy v6 in a first gen miata several years ago. Ended up pulling it for a SBC.

In all honesty, the bare-bones Model A hot rod was the only car that really made me giggle. The Challenger is a sweet car, but it is so refined compared to the old rod. The feeling of speed was at my fingertips in the hot rod. That car will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was the only car I have built from the ground up with my own two hands.

Additionally...NO car has given me the same adrenaline rush as my sportbikes. Cheap speed indeed!

Especially the comment about the 944 being crap. I LOVE mine. It's high maintenance, sure, but it's the best handling car I've ever owned. It needs more giddyup, but damn does it run on windy roads.
