It never really hit me how much our soldiers sacrifice until a new officer I was training told me the story of his 4 buddies either getting hit with an IED or sniper fire overseas. We are running 4 miles with 100lbs rutsacks tomorrow in memory of them. I feel honored that he invited me along for the run w/ the rest of his Army buddies.

I am a recently honorable discharged Marine Corps Veteran who was an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter who probably saved more lives than you donated cash to to a McDonald's coin charity box and seen more things and smelled charred bodies that the smell of ham made me sick from time from time. What am I doing now, going to school majoring in Business with the benefits I had to earn because my family was too poor to send me to college and I did not want college loans and be like a lot of unfortunate recent grads that are struggling.
Hearing this crap just makes me laugh because I wonder, what do you do better my friend? and what makes you hate the military service members? do you also hate police officers and firefighters too?
And please dont tell me you play call of duty, and other war games thinking its the coolest thing in the world?
