"Scars heal... glory fades, and all we're left with are the memories made, Pain hurts, but only for a minute, Yeah life is short so go on and live it; Cause the chicks dig it" - Chris Cagle
Stinky ain't the word for it was on a flight into Midland, TX on time the did something very similar due to high winds. Watching that left wing tip get down to the ground was real deja vue.
That was an accident that came real close to happening. That pilots has some nads...
"Now, I may not be an expert either, but I do lay the keyboard down on occasion, wipe the donut crumbs off my face, put my pants on and go outside into the light... and work on the car." - MattRobertson

WoW!! I would have needed a new pair of shorts after that one!! That pilot has my vote for "save of the year".
Kudos to the flight crew, I can only imagine the adrenaline that must have been flowing in the cockpit. Those passengers should all buy lottery tickets!

See how he was at an angle? That's called crabbing. Crosswinds landing. That pilot did a great job. Abort and come around again. Saved lives no doubt.
