Angry If it isn't one thing its another.

Where the heck did all this bad karma come from? I didn't do anything to anyone.

Month or so ago had to shell out $1,200 to fix a bay window some punk kids thought it would be fun to throw a rock through. (No, they weren't caught.)

Now the garage door is busted. Came right off the track. I bet thats gonna cost me. Good luck getting money out of me, I spent it all on the damn window and Christmas gifts!

    Bah humbug.

    Sorry for venting.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them.

Teh King, next time you have a window problem call me. We could have bought the glass at Brin Northwestern for around $20.00 - $30.00 per square foot, and I would have let you hire my guys for cash on a Saturday, a $100.00 spot goes along way with these guys.

Call Steve Johnson at Crawford Door 651-455-1221, tell him I said to take care of you. I'll pm you my full name.

Sorry to hear that King. Hope things get better quick.

But remember, it could always be worse. My friend had his garage door lose a couple of wheels off of the track. His wife was holding the garage door steady while he was trying to get it to close. He got it to close . . . with her fingers in the hinged part. Quick trip to the emergency room later and all was well. His brother and I fixed the hinges & wheels the next day.

Hope good karma is coming your way. Have a great holiday.

Wow, what's with these door springs??? Had to do that one too, and I've a double garage solid wood door. Heavy? Jim's right, freakin' heavy.

The Door guy said the springs were too light for the door and put on some big mutha's Been working great ever since. But now the opener's flaky. No not me (while true), the actual garage door opener...

If the counterweight cables are not preloaded evenly, the door will do some strange things! Might be worth a look to see if one side is more slack (strum test, tone should be VERY close).

If it's any consolation, when I was buying the Maggie in October, I had my Bonneville up for sale for $4300, and it sold. Nice down payment for Mag.

Then, I noticed a couple of tiles near my shower stall drain were missing grout. After poking around myself, I brought a tile guy over to check it out. In short, the whole shower was shot, and the wood framework was mostly wrecked by old termite infiltration. The cost: $4000.

I put a sign over the NEW shower stall ---- PONTIAC.

What a drag to have that happen now, but, it can be easily fixed if you have the tools and a Home Depot close. Good luck with the project.
