but I think these North Koreans are asking for a lot of trouble. What do you guys think will happen if this turns into an arms race then into a nuclear war?

There will be no arms race or nuclear war. You can bet your ass that there is a Boomer or two parked off their coast with conventional weapons loaded in the tubes and pointed straight at strategic targets.
If they try to use one of their pop-gun nukes in an offensive capacity there will be serious military consequences.

Being concerned that a volatile nation has nuclear weapons doesn't make you a racist.

You've just been pruned by the media to think you are if you disagree with anyone not just like yourself.

I'm guessing it will take one volley of warheads to make whatever point. That will usher in another 50 years of stalemates.

Race has nothing to do with protecting your country's sovereignty and the safety of it's people by common defense against rogue lunatic dictators. Japan is also poised to take action, & if China wanted to stop it immediately they could since N.K. depends on them for just about everything they need to survive. China has their own agenda, and that's to become the worlds economic & military superpower.

Yep...I'm afraid there are certain powers at be who dont have the balls to take preemptive action but lets just hope he pulls the trigger so we have an excuse to obliterate his tiny pecker sized nukes and hope the citizens have the goods to elect someone more competent and not another leader with Napoleon syndrome thinking the world is still in cold-war era arms race.

My wife is Korean and I have a lot of her family that still live in South Korea. It's very frustrating talking to young Koreans, most seem to have the Nevel Chamberlain mentality of appeasement. Who said: "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it." ? That kinda scares me. I guarantee that the North has hundreds and thousands of agents infiltrated thru out the South as they did before the war started in 1950. While I was stationed there in the 1970's there were many infiltrators caught coming into the South, I wonder how many made it thru. North Korean agents in submarines have kidnapped many S Koreans and even Japanese civillians and taken them back to the North. This guy is 100% insane and more dangerous than you can ever imagine.

The world is certainly getting interesting these days... N. Korea is stirring the pot... Iran's election has gone to the dumps and there is some serious stuff going on there right now. I think Isreal sent up some aircraft as well as some tanker planes. People are planning a march tomorrow.

I wonder who is going to still standing when the dust settles.

The UN will simply put sanctions against N. Korea for the next 20 years and no country has the nads to take any definitive action until they are attacked first. The rogue countries now have the upper hand in today's world.
