do any of the vendors carry header wrap?

I'm looking for some header/heat wrap and coating spray and was wondering if any of the vendors carry that stuff for a good price.

its going on my Thunderheadsrs on my Harley. I took a turn a little to sharp with a passenger and scrapped the pipes which tore a gash in my wrap. I just want to see if I could support a vender before I bought off the Internet.

I suggest ceramic coatings which is what Harley is now doing. But hey, I'm biased cuz it's what I do.

Exactly! ...And corrosion resistance is a big factor for OEM's and a big reason why they are moving towards high performance coatings. Corrosion resistance PLUS substantial performance gains just makes good sense. And, of course, there is that bling-thing...

If they are stainless (I love high polish stainless) then the benefit would primarily be performance of course. That is not to say that stainless = corrosion "proof" because it ain't. Stainless = corrosion "resistant", so with high temp coatings they will actually be corrosion "proof". I coat stainless parts, including firearms, all the time. In the case of firearms, there is also the added benefit that the coating itself has inherent lubricity. And there is that bling thang...

Da bling means so many things...

I like chrome myself in certain applications (I can't imagine a lead sled without tons'o chrome), but no I'm not just talking about shiny. I'm talking "different"; something unusual and uncommon. For example, I have a set of small block headers at the shop that...

ya know what? Words are cheap. I'll be back on to that job in a few weeks. When I get it done, I'll post some pictures of what my crazy ass calls "bling".

BTW, nice ride. I like the look you have going on there, kinda like rat-rodded with the matte and pipe wrap. Sweeeet. In that situation, I would call covering up more chrome with gloss on matte accents bling.

I am in southwest GA 35 miles north of Tallahassee, FL. A town named "Cairo", but don't say it like Cairo, Egypt...say it like Kay-row. How they get "Kay-row" from Cairo I'll never know.
