A day with the Newport V6 crew
LOL....Had an awesome sunday with my girlfriend and her brother. We are all into cars, like I've said before. We started the day out by going for a quick run in my car, she has some nice single lane roads that are paved and have some tight and slightly banked turns near her house. I just put my 17's back on and put the balder tires to the rear. Well needless to say, they are just a bit balder now. No, I dont have pics or vids, but I left plenty of skid marks, as I drifted each turn with grace. Her brother couldn't believe that the station wagon with a v6 can handle and go as fast as it does. So we got back to her house, and we all took our cars out to the park near her house as well. So here are the few pics we took, it was cold, and they wanted all the pics with our hoods up, so please dont rag on me for it. When we came into the parking lot, there is a boat dock, with a nice round about turn. Well, Michelle started the group off with a decent fishtail/drift coming out of the turn, which then led to me drifting the whole loop, and because her brother's car is FWD, he couldnt drift the turn so he ripped the e-brake and slid it sideways and then pulled straight into his spot, hence why he is a little further away in the pictures. So here are the pics.

You've all seen my car and Michelle's car by now, but I'll show the engine bays again.
Mikey's Dodge Daytona--- 3.0L V6 with the 5 speed

Michelle's Chevy Monte Carlo--- 3.8L V6

My Magnum--- 3.5L V6

On top of taking a drive in my car and having all three cars out, Mikey took us out in his Daytona and let us both drive his car. Michelle will be running the car when Mikey heads out to Texas for basics, so he is teaching her to drive stick. He then let me drive it, and for it only being my second time driving a stick, I only stalled once and that was while I was trying to find the turnsignal stick which is up on the dash board...Stupid design. Anyways, that was my day....I know it sounds boring to some but I felt like making a thread anyways.
