    Crosby vs. Ovechkin?

    So who do you prefer?

    It seems everyone these days feels Ovechkin is the better player, but I take a look at Crosby's highlight reel goals and among other things I think he makes nicer plays.

    Oh, and let's not make this into a Pittsburgh vs. Washington thing!

    I gotta go with Sid. While I certainly respect Ovechkin's ability and what he has done so far... I think Crosby will prove to be the better player in the long run.

    There is no pissing match here..... not in my eyes. Im not going to say Ovechkin sucks and that Crosby is that much better. No way. How could you?

    Trust me... coming from a goaltender's perspective, they are both equally as threatening. I just think Sid is the all around, complete package.

    no dis respect intended sublime but ovechkin is an all around complete player compared to sid the whiner. alex is not afraid to hit or get hit and if he has too fight where as sid hardly hits and whines every time he is hit. not that i am a hockey expert but i did grow up playing hockey with 1 of the top 5 canadian players of all time JOE SAKIC. so my vote goes to ovechkin !!!!!!!!

    No disrespect taken.... just a matter of opinion here.

    Like I said, I think they are both phenomenal---no question about it. But my favoritism lies with Crosby, that's all.

    Either way, Im glad to see some hockey talk on here for once!

    Does it matter? It's a team game. My money's on the Wings. They far and away lead the league in goals. I love the way the Bruins are playing but who knows if they can keep it up. There are 2 seasons, the regular season and the playoffs.

    Syd is pretty awesome.. but I am going with Alex... Being a Detroit native though.. Datsyuk is right up there as well.. that guy can stick handle in a phone booth and make even the best players look SILLY!
