Can I bring these on a plane??

Hey guys. I would like to know if I would be able to travel on an airplane with an HID kit and possibly some led police lights.

    Any input?

Don't forget that I am Arab, so I always get the "special" treatment.

    Thanks,

    Khalid

Carry on or checked luggage. I would see them giving you a hard time about even though they are harmless.

I'm thinking about checked but if its not allowed them they would just take the kit and I will never see it again :(

I already tried googling it but nothing came up :(

No batteries or a kneeling blanket and you should be fine.

Oh, and you might want to get a black bra, size EEE. Cut one of the cups out and wear it on your head. You won't look Arab then.

They don't take anything from your checked stuff. Look what I've been traveling with in my checked luggage without any trouble:

I split the contents of the box into three separate suitcases of which I checked 2 and used 1 as carry on Sure, had some explaining to do at the checkpoints but nothing I couldn't talk myself out by showing the installation manual...

Wow - I would have thought it'd be difficult to insult both folks of Israeli and Arabian descent in the same post, but I think you nailed it...

I had a checked bag searched a couple of years ago. I flew to Tulsa to pick up a car and when I got there I had a nice little note in my checked bag that basically said "we didn't like the picture the xray showed us, so we opened the bag to see what it was". I had a power inverter, some cables, some tools, and a GPS in that bag.

They didn't confiscate anything, but they did search the bag.

Oh come on, it was a frickin' joke.

Or should I have said something along the lines of "As long as they aren't strapped to your camel".
