sounds like an ignorant statement.
so the cops that chase drug dealers and hunt murderers at night are "being punished"?
a good friend of mine works the night shift regularly. its just what he does. he gets murderers off the street all the time.
i guess if you want to write tickets to soccer moms all day, it might be punishment,
but some cops actually are out to do some real good as well.
i just dont understand why you would suggest that night cops are all on the garbage shift and just out to start trouble.
oh wait... its college station, the cops there are different..

damn dude, im just happy it wasnt your LX
It was highway patrol, they arent chasing drug dealers or dealing with murderers unless they are speeding. From just the police departments that I have inside experience with, I have found that 2am shifts on Saturday nights arent for senior brass clad officers. Apparently not all departments are like that and for my broad generalization I apologize.
Im sorry to have gotten your panties in such a twist.
I apologize for my previous statement, I was ignorant to the way every department operates and just used my previous experience as the background to my claim. Moving on though, no I dont have any pictures because it wasnt my car and it had been towed before I woke up the next morning. He got his estimate this morning and its $6500.
I woulndt have towed the car, it would have sat till another cop came, or the sun came up to take pictures...

I will say that when I was involved in a chase in B/CS, it was the DPS that joined me & was most helpful!
Imagine driving 2 plus hours to help your parents get home after being robbed, only to happen up on the "known suspects" as you arrive. The chase was on and DPS was who responded & backed me up, even though I was in Bryan!!! The short version is they got away with the merchandise and there was not enough evidence to get fingerprints that would have cinched the case.
Big kudos for the DPS around B/CS! Unfortunately, it is not the 1st time I heard of the lack luster support from the local LEO's from adults in the area. I hope that trend is broken soon.
My Duster is getting an Inertia Motorsports HEMI!
Didn't you make it to the Texas ALL MOPAR event benefiting the Tx School for the Blind?
