Hey guys,
I'm added a few gauges and switches to my interior. I'm looking for a wire to tap so that the lights in the gauges will come on with the headlights/interior lights on the dash. These are going in the center of the dash, down where the ashtray was. I'd love to know which wire I can tap. I think my test light is dead as I couldn't find a wire to tap last night.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Burleson

ATC or MTC?
I don't know what that means Pete. sorry for the ignorance.
i tapped the one for the HVAC panel for the dimmer on my head unit when I had the 300c, RED with Gray Stripe on the HVAC harness, can't tell you which connector though, but my notes say RED/GRY for Panel Light

With Data Bus and all that fun stuff these days, I'd recommend tossing your test light anyway. I'm sure someone will tell me I'm stupid and over cautious but essentially you're allowing those data circuits to ground out with a test light. Get a cheap digital multimeter at the least.
The other over cautious part of me would like to know what exactly you're hooking up to have an idea of amperage draw.

on the Magnum, isn't there a wire harness plug that was supposed to be used for the clock, same as the 300's up behind the radio bezel. There is an orange / white wire (not 100%) may want to check with test light, like previously mentioned.
Thanks guys, I have the ATC. Sweet. Now I know which one I need.
Awesome. Now if I didn't have a pile of work to knock out tonight, and it wasn't raining balls I could go and use this information. lol.
When I get it all hooked up I'll post up pics.
I tapped the light down by the shifter that illuminates the PRND+/- and my gauges come on with the headlights and dim if I want them to. Just another source to consider.

I used the wire that Motor referenced.
