Has anyone replaced their glass with lightweight lexan / polycorbonate windshield / windows?
Any information is appreciated.

Jim,
I assume you will not be driving it on the street anymore?
i asked about it before and was warned it easily gets chipped from sand/rocks if driven on the street

isnt that a bit of in the iligal side if you drive your car with a lexan winshield on the street?
leave the protective plastic on and peel when needed. but then ull need to put on another coating...
maybe clear plastidip?![]()
I made a lexan winshield for the AI Challenger I wouldn't suggest running it on the street it's not as clear as glass has distortion hear & there
I have a lexan windshield that looks and mounts like stock. You have to provide a core so they can make a mold and it was like $500 or something like that. It is about 10-15 lbs lighter and there is distortion. It does scratch easy so no wipers and never rub your windows without them being wet.
I can look up the company name and specifics if you need them
