    Speedglass or other lightweight windshield

Has anyone replaced their glass with lightweight lexan / polycorbonate windshield / windows?

    Any information is appreciated.

Not to mention what is going to happen when you switch your wipers on.

No no, just use a rubber mallet & beat on it, the Polycarbonate will flex allowing the ice to break away.

Any stubborn chunks can then be removed W/a wire wheel on an angle grinder.

I made a lexan winshield for the AI Challenger I wouldn't suggest running it on the street it's not as clear as glass has distortion hear & there

I have a lexan windshield that looks and mounts like stock. You have to provide a core so they can make a mold and it was like $500 or something like that. It is about 10-15 lbs lighter and there is distortion. It does scratch easy so no wipers and never rub your windows without them being wet.

I can look up the company name and specifics if you need them
First all motor LX in the 9's
