    Relocating/Bypassing ESP switch

Hey guys, I've searched and can't find a definitive answer so here's my situation.

First, I have an '06 MSRT.

I'm going to modify my dash bezel and I'd like to relocate the ESP/Hazard/Wiper switches on the dash. I'd actually like to bypass the factory switch and use one of my choice that isn't in the OEM panel. I don't care about the wiper button since I'm getting rid of the rear wiper. The Hazard switch is easy to figure out. I don't want to move the whole panel that has the wiper switch etc in it so I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to bypass my OEM switch. Since the ESP switch is a multifunction switch with the single press and the long press I can't figure out how to duplicate the action with an aftermarket switch. I don't care about the partial off part. I just need to be able to turn ESP off when I want it off without having to ever access the OEM switch.

    I really appreciate the help

Can't it be done with the wire from under the drivers seat. I can't remember which wire it is, but there is a write-up about disabling esp, it also shuts off your abs brake system as well.

The $5 no esp mod could be what you want. You no longer need the OEM switch.

You could use a 300 Hazard ESP switch it's smaller so you can relocate where you'd need it.

That's a good idea. I wonder if the plug is the same...

Only one way that I know of and that is to interrupt a particular wire to the silver box in the console.

As far as the smaller switch from the Charger and 300, yes the plug is the same. I have the Charger switch in my 06 Mag since I got rid of my rear wiper as well.

The Charger is missing the wiper switches however the bezel is still the same width.
The 300 assembly is much smaller. Wonder if that one has the same plug on it.
Good idea. I think with that you'll get best of both worlds.
Splice in wires and extend the switch to where you want it and still have it clean looking.

Plugs are the same AFAIK just missing pins on the switch because of the lack of pins. Ask people that have done 300 dash conversions, only a handful have done it.

Then I guess that I have the 300 button, not the Charger. My button is only 3 wide, the hazard, esp and a blank. And yes it is plug and play as well, I extended my wires from the top of the bezel to just above the ashtray where the cd pocket was filled in, and the hazard and esp both work the same with the 300 button. But like it was said, the 300 button will not fit in the stock location for the Magnum as its smaller across.
