is it possible to tap to get these lights?

I'm looking to get a series of information lights for the following:

1. cruise control (I can never see the one on the stalk)
2. lights (I figure I would tap into a parking light)
3. MDS (I know that's possible)

I could only see the cruise control light be a problem as its location but yeah something better than the little amber light you get on the stalk. Later years got a notification when CC was engaged on the EVIC. As well as an MDS indicator as well. Though why do you want a light notification?

Because I like the auto lights on switch mod but they do not turn on at times when it's dark enough where they need to be on.
On my Chevy Cars I was able to adjust the sensitivity of the twilight sentinel with a up / down knob. And I find the Magnum cluster lights to be rather faint unless it's really dark out.

which i believe you can tweak with the evic (in engineering screen) or get a more recent flash done to your HVAC module. yes, the heater controls manage your auto headlights.

I had the HVAC controlls switched last year with a new unit. (this one says HI LO, while the old was blue dot and red dot which I like more).
How can I tell in EVIC if I can get newer software?
What's the latest software I can have? I have an early 05
