Painted front badge

After seeing everyone doing the custom front badges lately I finaly decided to do the mod to my badge i've been wanting to do for a while, I pulled it off, scuffed it up some with a scotchbright pad and then painted it with duplicolor metalcast purple to give it a purple chrome look.

Now I just need to do something about the grills, thinking I may try using the metalcast on those as well, not sure if it will be to much purple or not though, I figure if I don't like it I will just just paint them black.

Lol, I actualy have quite a bit of purple on my car, Purple CAI, most of the silver interior trim pieces were repainted with the same metalcast, purple UV light iluminating my sub amp, have 2 more purple UV cold cathode tubes to put under the dash too once it warms up outside Also want to do the calipers with the same metalcast purple as well.

Thought it was a Grinner until i read this far. Gotten so used to the Purple and Black just made the natural leap.

Good going I think you should try the grill with this color as well since it will show off well with the silver. Worst case you paint it balck like you mentioned anyway.
