    Lowering engine temp

As Magnum RT mentioned in one of his post, engine temp has a lot to do with power.

It used to be you could swap the thermo and be good to go. These days the computer controls the fan, and does not run it unless the car is up to temp. I assume the Magnum is set up this way as well.

In the Grand Prix GTP and Bonneville SSEi world, there were kit to override this.

Thoughts? It might be nice to flick a switch and get the engine a little cooler.

I will be selling a fan switch kit with t-stat in the coming weeks... give me some time bro ;-)

That temp really does affect these hemi's, more than I was thinking it would.

    MagnumRT,

Thanks. Imagine how impatient I would be if I actually had my Magnum. :-)

The lowering engine temp question came up in regards to MagnumRT's 1/4 mile runs. Warm engine 14.0, cool engine 13.8.
