    The JBA's are coming!

Just got a PM from Josh stating that my JBA catback is shipping out today!!!

I'm looking forward to hearing my Mag breath the way it is supposed to. I've checked many of the exhaust threads for tips, but any additional ones are surely welcome. This will be my first major mod, so you can guess how excited I am! I'll definitely take pics and will try to post some sound bites if I can.

Here's a coupla vids to keep you warm at night until yours arrive.

Different setup (you'll have no drone from what I gather) but at least you'll get to hear a little roar. My setup does use very large JBA pipes though!

    Quick fly by

    Nice long fly-by

If mine ends up sounding like that, I may never get out of my car except to put fuel in it!

Use some WD40 to help you get the old exhaust off the hangers. A small pry bar also helps a lot. The rear hangers will unbolt and makes it easier to work them off. I shimmed my X pipe up off the cross member with a piece of 1X scrap stock (3/4"). Use anti-sieze compound on the clamp threads (unless you weld them right off) and REALLY tighten those clamps down - from the rear forward. Then remove the shim(s).

Good luck! Its a fun easy install as long as you can get the car up high enough to work on easily.

To see if you'll like it, sometimes you just have to pull your pants down and take a slide on the ice.

Thanx Poco. I have a couple sets of heavy duty ramps to get the car up, along with some jackstands and aluminum jack, so I think I should be alright.
