    installing new guage faces

I'm trying to determine how much of a job it is to either install one of the guage face kits or individual dial covers. It seems like it would be easy to screw something up, scratched or ill fitting glass etc. at reinstall. But, these kits are fairly common so maybe it is quite easy. Can anyone enlighten me?

i took my gauge cluster apart yesterday to paint something in it and it wasn't hard at all...all you need is a screw driver and torque socket size T-15...where did you get the gauge face kit at?

Hey RockinSRT8 the kit I got have the lil red pry tool to take off the needles, I found the kit at stylin concepts it is a truck outfitter but they have a few guages for the lx platform.
You will want to play with the alignment some. May take a few times but you can get them back in the right spot so they display the correct speed and temp and such.
If you need any help via phone, just shoot me a PM and I will get in touch with you.
    Good luck on the install....

Glad I could help. Just remember to take pics of the gauges at rest with no power and again with the car idling. Engine temp will be different but if you have EVIC then get to know where the needle is compared to the digital reading. A short test drive will confirm the speedo with the digital. My biggest problem was disconnecting the plugs (hubby had to do them for me) but then I finally managed by myself.
