    HID install help

Alright guys. I need some help. I got these to install into my fog lights. It seems like something is missing to me. Any help would be great. Here is the type of kit , instructions, and pictures. There is no wires to lead to the battery for the power?

    Ballast and bulb.

I believe this is how it works...

*EDIT* Un-durrr'ing my post thanks to Numbasyx's post.

    Hey bud!

    Like Numbasyx states below...
connect the male end that would usually connect to your current fog light bulb to the circled female.

Don't sweat the flicker issue when running these to fog lights.

That female plug circled in this picture would mate with the existing male connector that is plugged to your foglight. Also I do not see any resistors/relay/idiodes on your harness so they might start flickering. Do you know anyone with this kit on a LX vehicles?

I believe you can get the anti flicker adapter from "Stealth Auto"

You don't need to worry about the flicker issue when running these as fogs.

I took the one in red and hooked it to my drivers side fog light end that was hooked to the original bulb. I then took the 2 plugs circled in yellow and plugged them into each other. Does this sound right? When I turned it on it did not work.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware about the foglights not flickering with a basic HID kit. Learn something new everyday.

Hmm it should work. Did you check the fuse? Have you tried switching to the other ballast/ bulbs just to see if there are any defects?

That black and blue looks like a hardwire. My kit was a plug and play and didn't require to tap the battery terminal like that instruction says. But then again I don't have HID on my fogs, just my headlight.

Not going to contradict you on this but every HID kit I have installed you HAD to run a positive feed to the battery and a ground to a ground source, this allows power to be sent to the ballast, looks like your missing a part to me. The relay may not be needed but I always use them, here are some pics of my install using the Mcculloch HID kit similar to this one

These 2 pins have to be inserted into the clip the correct way and make sure they snap in the right direction, honestly if your not comfortable with installing this kit there is a much better kit that you dont have to put so much together and is alot easier to install at kbcarstuff.com
