    Question HELP: Removing door panels

I am still working on getting my window sills installed.

I have removed all the push pins holding the trim and all the screws. I am now trying to remove the panels themselves. I am currently working on the rear passenger door. The top of the door, where the panel meets the glass, I follow until I reach a clip in the back. I have pulled at this point, per the instructions, but this clip is not coming loose? Any trick to it or do you literally just pull until it opens?

    Any help is appreciated.

Look down from the top to locate the clips. Grab the door top at the site of the clip and give it a "quick" yank. It will come, my son.

When the clip does release from the top of the door..... you will certianly think you have broken something..... never fear.... the clips just work as they were designed! If the clip comes loose from the door panel, make sure to put it back on the panel before you reinstall it.

Do you actually lift the panel over the door lock first and then pull or pull it and then lift it over the lock? I will mess with it later anyway, but I might as well ask now.

I don't know if this is the same style push pin that is on the rear hatch trim:

On the rear hatch trim I used a butterknife at the base of the pin and twisted the knife while pulling on the panel. It took a lot less force to remove the panels with the help of a lever/tool twisting/prying the pins than without.
Did the radiator cap mod: SRT8 is here....

Pull panel first, with quick and short pulls at the site of each clip. Then you can lift up a little bit and work the panel over the door lock. Don't forget to unplug the plug at the window switch before you whirl the panel away from the door. Like Bo said.....the top white clips that are attached to the door tops, can become dis-attached, so make sure they're in place before re-installing. For re-installing: When the clip is lined up with the hole (and make sure it is) firmly push and you'll hear the barbs go in the hole. I give a light rap over each clip just to be sure. Continue down the line. (MAKE SURE YOU PLUG IN THE WINDOW SWITCH BEFORE RE-INSTALLING THE PANEL) It really sucks when you have to repeat the whole process. Have fun!!!

I am about to attempt to install lower window sills for the first time. Kinda nervous but have confidence I can do it without damaging the door.

Which window sill are you installing? Upper or lower? Both?

'05 Magnum RT, Midnight Blue Pearl - Mods: 20% tint, Dub chrome door handles, debadged rear door (except Rams head), silver billet knob covers (MRK Group), Dub chrome lower window sills, stock navi upgrade, silver bulbs (front and rear), blinker mod, and fuel door mod.

I actually only want to do the lower. The upper is kewl, but I don't want to have to deal with thep pillars. For me, the lower looked like it would complement the side moulding without drawing too much attention to itself.

Even knowing this I can only say that you cannot possibly be prepared for this sound. I said many special words that need not be repeated here as soon as it came loose.

My only advice for this clip is not to bother trying to use anything to pry it. Pulling the door firmly really was easier even with the terror.
