    Help with Billet Pedals

    Hey gang,

Just unpacked a set of Billet Pedals that I got on e-bay. They look great, but I'm a little worried about the screws that were sent with them. The pedals are obviously new, but I'm not sure that the screw assortment is original. There were six hex screws with nuts that obviously are reset into the pedals, but there were also, what looked to be, three wood or sheet metal screws as well. Nine screw holes, all together, in the three pedals. Does that sound right - or am I the one who got screwed? If anyone has installed a pedal kit, does it make sense that one of the pedals would use sheet metal screws? Oh yeah, they didn't come with any literature whatsoever and so far, the seller hasn't answered any emails.

Thanks, any help would be appreciated!

    Talking Bought the same ones

Sounds like I bought the same ones. None of them were any good.
Had to go to Ace Hdwe, get longer hex head bolts. Those are size 4, smallest Ace sells is #6, just drill a larger hole. The wood screws for the dead pedal will not bite into anything. Had to get self drilling, long screws. I also used hex on the gas pedal & emergency brake.

    Directions would have helped too
