    Edashkit installed

I finally got around to posting pictures of my Edashkit install. I got the basic kit and didn't install everything. I haven't decided yet whether to do the vents but I thing I will add the piece around the headlight switch. The kit is in the California Redwood with real wood and the pictures don't do it justice. I like the look of it with the stock brushed nickel dash pod but it is tempting (must resist temptation) to put it all on because the stuff is so gorgeous. It would involve work though because to do it right you would take out the centre bezel and paint it black, otherwise the nickel colour would show around the edges. For the pieces on the doors, I went around the edges with a black sharpie marker (too lazy to paint). I chose the Edashkit for price and reputation but also because other kits did not have the trim that goes on the nav unit and the heating control area.

The hard part is controlling yourself because the real woodgrain stuff is awesome but I didn't want to go overboard and slap it all on.

I don't see California Redwood as an option, could it be Rosewood you got?

On the website, at the point where you get 3 choice boxes, "Choose Color", "Choose Color For Car With OEM Trim" and "Quantity", go to "Choose Color For Car With OEM Trim" box, not the "Choose Color" box. You will see "Real Wood California Walnut / add 30%".

Another question if I may; I notice an insert for the gearshift lever, did this come standard with the kit you purchased?

    Thanks...
