    Talking Door Handle Mod!!

Well I got my door handle so I could change it out for a "no lock" handle...
Started by painting the handle... (could not find a MBP)...

    Primed...

    Painted...

    Cleared...

    Next...
    Time to install the handle...
    Took the door panel off...

    A little protection...

    Oops no handle...

    New handle in...

I will take more once I get out in the sun in a couple weeks...

A couple of notes... The front most screw on the handle is a PITA to get off... But I did figure out it kinda helps to use a ratchet wrench.

    Thats it...

Awesome write up. I too thought of deleting the drivers door lock. I never used it once in the year I had my mag. Closest color I`ve come to Midnight blue pearl is duplicolor`s Chrysler navy blue number DSCC4756. I used this on my eyelids and its VERY hard to tell the difference between the two colors. I wouldnt use this color to paint say, a whole door or a major area, but i`d be confident enuff to use it on an application such as a door handle, eyelids, rear roof spoiler or any other smaller part where the cars original color "tricks" the eye into thinking the off-color paint is the same. It even has the pearl/metallic flake in it as MBP and sparkles in the sun same as MBP. As I said very hard to tell the MBP and navy apart. What blue did you use? Its appears a dead match to the MBP. Looks great on the handle against the door. Got a part number on the handle?

I ordered used the Aerosol Spray Paint base coat and clear coat from automotivetouchup.com and it uses Mopars paint code of "PB8". as for the door handle I am not sure on the exact part number as I got this one from someone here on the forum...

EDIT: I looked up the part number in the book... and I looks like the part number is "WC83TZZAD" that is the part number for the rear drivers door handle and thats the one needed.

Hey Midnight SXT, if you are looking for a handle I've got 3 left (1 front driver's door, 1 front passenger side and 1 rear passenger side) after selling imahemi the one you see in his write up.
    PM me.
